Engine Lycoming O-320-D3G sn L-7939-39A, new 1978, 3531 ETTSN, 863 SMOH
Engine overhauled by aircraft builder on 5/1990 with: new 9:1 pistons,
overhauled cylinders, new guides, new exhaust valves, new lifters,
reground cam, balanced crankshaft, new oil pump, new vacuum pump, new
fuel pump, new alternator, cylinders polished and flow tested. Engine
currently disassembled and undergoing IRAN inspection.
Large rudder upgrade
The aircraft had an incident while landing at night and ran off the runway in October 2010. The damage consists of:
Propeller bent blades, repairable
RH flap, repairable
Wing tips, repairable
Ailerons, minor cosmetic repair
Wing, repairable. RH gear mount area,
RH lower skin near tip, trailing edge where one flap hinge mounts
Landing gear, repair and replace some
pieces approx. 50% damaged
Landing gear doors, repair or replace
Engine mount, repairable. Bent at gear
attach points.
Damage that has been repaired:
LH flap
Fuselage split lower seam
Both wing tips in process
Gear doors in process
This is a 100% complete aircraft including all instruments and avionics
with full IFR panel. The following is needed to finish aircraft to a
flyable condition:
Nose wheel, one half only
One brake caliper and disc, Cleveland
Misc. landing gear assemblies pieces,
drag braces and actuators
One gear door
Pitot tube has a dent but is
useable
Rewire electrical
Reinstall all instruments and avionics
Repair
one flap or replace
Repair wing, minor damage in a few
places on bottom, no damage to spar or structural
Repair engine mount
Repair main gear doors
Repair bent prop blades
Assemble engine
